We were very excited to have dinner at Mission Ranch but overall, it turned out a pretty horrible experience for us. First of all, the food was very disappointing. My husband ordered a steak which was tasteless and overcooked. I ordered a pasta which was basically swimming in water and very bland. I had to return it and it came back with more garlic added to provide taste. I just couldn't eat it. Secondly, after dinner at the piano bar of Mission Ranch, my hair were caught in a candle flame and were burned. The candle was placed behind me with no cover. However, the restaurant manager and the general manager accepted no responsibility, with their main concern a potential lawsuit as opposed to my well-being. It was quite scary. I am not sure if it is legal to have uncovered candles in CA, but the management should be aware that something more serious could have happened! My simple advice is just don't go there. For a nice steak, go to Graising instead!

My boyfriend and I spent our 7 year anniversary at the Inn, we had a fabulous dinner.. I caught a glimpse of Clint Eastwood. However, I was too embarrassed to go up to him. I didnt want to bother him, I almost tripped when I seen Him!

My wife and I had dinner last night at the Mission Ranch. We had to wait an hour to be seated which was not a big deal b/c the atmosphere was lively and the characters sitting around the piano bar were amusing. Once we were seated outside, our waitress showed up at our table twice. Once to take our order and the other to drop off the food. My prime rib was average and the lighting was so poor, I had to hold up a candle to see what I was eating. My wife had the pork tenderloin which was inedible. Thankfully, when the waitress returned, she took the pork off the bill and we were on our way. We had very high expectations and our culinary dreams were shattered. I recommend you stop by, during sunlight hours, have a drink and then head off to dinner somewhere else. The chefs at the restaurant either need to step it up or be replaced.

Our family have been frequenting the Mission Ranch for over 20 years and have always been delighted by the service, ambience and setting. Sadly, we will not be returning after a shocking display of discrimination. The manageress of the restaurant refused to accomodate the needs of an elderly and disabled member of our party who was in a wheelchair. The manageress said that it 'would take over the dining room' and was the 'policy' of the Mission Ranch. My wife's elderly grandmother was left humiliated and embarrassed by the experience as our entire party were forced to leave only moments after having arrived. We have raised this with the Misssion Ranch and I hope no one else is forced through the same expereince in future.
